Join Milwaukee's newest bicycle club! The Hollander RDBC is a club for everyone. We are still pretty new and only have about 30 members, but we are growing organically through word of mouth. We were formed by a few dedicated cyclists who ride to work, ride to the cafes, ride with our families and even do the occasional race.
This club is all about riding with no pretense. We ride in jeans and skirts, cotton and lycra, clogs and clipless. We ride cheap city bikes with fenders and racks, nice touring and racing bikes that cost more than our cars, hipster fixed gears, tandems, recumbents and mountain bikes. We ride for fun and to get to work. We ride to get some coffee, for fitness and a few of us might even do a race now and then. But the RDBC is NOT a racing team (for that see the Hollander RDC racing team). Our club will have many regularly planned rides as we get going, but they will be driven by our club members. They will be coded for type of ride: slow, fast, casual, with kids, and so on. We also plan on biking to camp over night this summer at nearby parks like Kohler Andre and the Mauthe Lake. All that and more will be on the calendar at the right, so stay tuned. We will have club bike clothing, including a sweet jersey, but you don't have to purchase it to join. Club membership is $30 for an individual and $45 for a family. Sign up now and get a free Hollander RDBC T-shirt with your membership while they last.
